Tours by feet, for groups
Berlin Squares ('Plätze') throughout the changing times – by feet and rail
On this tour there are very different squares to discover and our tourist guide gives you comments on their past and present times. The tour starts at Alexanderplatz. You experience Schlossplatz (Castle Square) and Museum Island nearby, classified as World cultural Heritage, and whose institutions represent a unique group of museums. You stroll across Gendarmenmarkt counting, with its ensemble of French Cathedral, German Cathedral and Concert House, among the city's representative sites. Potsdamer Platz, once Europe's busiest square, then divided by the Wall, today shows an example for international architecture and a symbol for modern business life.
